Welcome to PageWarden
What PageWarden does, who it is for, and where to start.
PageWarden watches your websites and online services around the clock and tells you the moment something breaks, so you hear it from us before you hear it from your customers.
You point PageWarden at a web address (or a server, or a domain name), choose how you want to be told when there is a problem, and then get on with your day. When a site goes down, a certificate is about to expire, or a domain is close to lapsing, PageWarden sends an alert.
The seven things PageWarden checks
Uptime
Is your website loading?
SSL certificate
Is your HTTPS padlock still valid, and when does it expire?
Domain expiry
Is your domain name about to lapse?
Keyword
Does a word you expect still appear on the page?
Port
Is a specific service (mail, database, game server) reachable?
DNS
Do your domain records still point where they should?
Ping
Is a server or device responding on the network?
Who it is for
PageWarden is built for the people who own the site, not the people who built it. You do not need to be a developer. If you can paste a web address, you can set up monitoring in a couple of minutes.
