Email alerts
The default channel, included on every plan.
Email is the simplest alert channel and is included on every plan, including Free.
Set it up
Email alerts go to the address on your account by default, so there is usually nothing to set up. To check it works:
- Go to Alerts.
- Find the email channel.
- Open its ⋮ menu and choose Send test.
A sample alert arrives in your inbox within a moment. If it does not, check your spam folder and add our sending address to your contacts.
Good to know
- Email is a great baseline. For anything time-critical, pair it with a Slack, Discord, or Telegram channel so an alert is harder to miss.
- You choose which monitors send to email on the Routing screen.
